The Shipwreck Centre & Maritime will be ready to open the doors from the 1st August.

To allow us to do so safely, there are several changes to the way the museum will work. The most important change is that we will only be able to accept visitors who have booked online.

This is now available on the website at museum.maritimearchaeologytrust.org/tickets
Each session can hold a maximum of 6 people. There is currently no minimum number.

In line with the relevant guidelines we have the following in place
  • One-way system throughout the museum & shop
  • Social distancing measures in place
  • Hand washing and hand gel facilities
  • Mask essential for the shop area and the museum
Please ensure that you visit our Plan your visit section of the museum website to see the full list of additional measures put in place to keep us all safe.

Stay safe - If you are displaying the symptoms of coronavirus or have been told to self-isolate, please do not visit the museum.
